As part of the new road package, the tachograph will be used differently when crossing a national border.
These rules will enter into force on February 2, 2022.
When crossing a national border, drivers will have to stop at the nearest restingspot after the border and enter the new country/national mark.
The new country of departure is the country you have just entered.
If the land-border is crossed by ferry or train, enter the new country of departure at the port or station of arrival.
When crossing a national border in a vehicle with analogue tachograph, the new country of departure must be entered on the record sheet at the nearest resting place.
It is allowed to take out record sheets to add a new country of departure/national mark.
